Was driving the truck to the store today and in the corner of my eye, I saw a red light.. It was my gas gauge, it was glowing red, near empty. Funny but that has not happened to me for so many years. Made me uncharacteristically pull over to take a concentrated moment in reflection.
Not because of my surprised that a vehicle will eventually use the fuel you pump into it; no not that at all; it was the awareness that such a necessary thing in a persons life left unattended could have such a profound impact on my personal goal, in this case getting to the store. Commonsense aside.
Silly I know, but think about this as it relates to the slight ignoring of what little things we take for granted; when left unattended can have such a profound impact. A numbness that I dare say is the by-product of the increasing fear and uncertainty we currently are forced to endure in almost every moment of our life now.
Guess there is more to what is said that eventually, ‘it will be the little things ignored that truly will cause grief!‘
“What was once the norm is now the once was!”
Just need to see if I’m not going crazy blind to what possibly is ahead.. Here are just a few morphing to a new norm.

Hard-work is the cure all…
However, I know there are still so many things that will not change; mostly due to what I have found as most cherished, those things that truly matter. A list for another post, certainly.
Looks like the cure starts with what we individually allow to affect us personally, must be what you agree as a new awareness that this is truly taking place first in your mind followed then by your actions; all the while wondering if you are asleep or awake.
Stop and Smell the Roses, please!
Looking forward to another Blessed day of newfound awareness – Staying AWAKE has taken a new meaning.
