During a series of reshuffling of my bags due to a lost document I’ve yet to find.. Conceal Carry Card.., I stumbled upon a folder loaded of documents full of accolades during my past military life.  Honestly, I cried! I should have stayed in and continued on that climb.  Such a failure in judgment! 

Have you ever looked back on your life and found that a series of bad decisions caused a sudden lost of what was an outstanding career, love, or tremendous opportunity; then realized that similar instances albeit dissimilar details, have somehow found a way to repeated itself?  Different but the same?!

I cried because now I am past the youth of my age to start another run for the roses.  Cannot do what a military career demands and excel.. too old for reentry; cannot jump into a a new civilian career due to age of over 60… or can I?  

Here are some of my more promising notes as possibilities: 

Drone Pilot

        –  Equipment purchase

–  FAA License required

Realtor

–  Real estate investment or sales 

        –  License required

–  Investment required

Private Investigator

–  License 

        –  Sponsor or mentorship required

Work from home opportunities

        –  Remote employment

        –  Piecemeal work

I have selected these as possible solutions to feed this hunger still alive in me, one because I have dabbled a little in each and have found each is highly probable and seems to fit this hunger.

Of course they were for me as you would imagine; however, the thought process does not change.  

1. Be truthful with your capabilities.
2. Honest about your resources
3. Test drive each to see if they would fit you and your goals

Then just do it!  

I purposely left this one off as a step because of its seemingly obvious importance.  Realized FACT: Dreams, hopes and prays have no life till you superimpose your personal actions to them.
